Challenge your team to take part and implement a hygiene and garbage disposal project in a local Siem Reap village. This one time project is suited to corporate companies looking to associated themselves with a worthwhile CSR project which they can sponsor from overseas.
The event takes place around the Samrong village community which is in dire need of a rubbish clear program. Currently there is no rubbish collection service and as part of your involvement your company will sponsor this project for a minimum of 1 year's rubbish collection as disposal.
First participants are challenged to clear and clean up the village. Then they bring all the rubbish to the local school where they teach the locals how to separate the rubbish into different containers for plastics, recyclables and bio-degradable items.
Then teaching is done with fun activities , drawings, paintings and CSR related games to reinforce the concepts and pass on their knowledge. Delegates will teach how to make use of recyclable items to make new items such as plant pots from plastic bottles and artistic handicrafts.
Finally the group makes bins from tyres and places them around the village and the school with a ceremony to begin the garbage disposal project in Samrong village!
