To the south just over eight kilometres away is Jomtien Beach and a further forty five kilometres south is Rayong both which are perfect for a quieter relaxing stay in modern resort style hotels. What is the best time to travel to Pattaya?
The best time to travel to Pattaya for the weather is from mid-December to the end of March, the high season, when high temperatures (mid 30’s) and warm sunshine are guaranteed.
From April to November, the low season, expect a heavy shower or two during the monsoon however the temperature always remains in the mid 30’s with November being a slightly cooler month. The low season is particularly recommended for corporate incentive groups looking to receive excellent hotel group prices making it the best time travel to the island.

Utapao-Rayong Pattaya International airport offers direct International flights from throughout Asia and within Thailand and is located only 45 minutes from Pattaya city.
Regular flights from China, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and domestic routes from Chiang Mai and Udon Thani are operated by Air Asia. Bangkok Airways also fly a twice daily service from Koh Samui.
For International arrivals in Bangkok, travel to Pattaya is by road and takes approximately ninety minutes from Bangkok's Suwarnabhumi international airport. Choose to travel by car, minivan and large coach with private transfers from starting from USD 100 per minivan per way.
