Introduction to Team Building in Siem Reap
With only 180,000 inhabitants, Siem Reap is Cambodia’s third largest city and major tourist destination. It’s the getaway to the infamous temples of Angkor Wat, the largest religious monuments in the world.
Siem Reap is literally translated as the defeat of Siam, which dates back to a century old conflict between the Cambodians and the Thais.
The empire of Angkor was besieged by the Ayuthaya King Uthong in 1352 and re-conquered by King Suryavamsa in 1357. According to legendary folk tales, the Khmer king captured 10,000 Thai solidiers as a result of his conquest.
